For your safety, as with all injectables and fillers, Botox should only be injected by a trained professional who understands the anatomy of the face to avoid complications. The effects of Botox are temporary and any side effects are of 3-4 month duration. Possible side effects can include lowering of the eyebrows, drooping of an upper eyelid if the product migrates into unintended areas. Other side effects include minor swelling and bruising of the injection site.
